Little the Terrier was a brave and loyal dog who accompanied Auntie Em's Niece on her extraordinary adventure to the magical land of Oz. Unbeknownst to Toto, this unexpected day would change into a thrilling escapade. As the tornado swept them away, Toto bravely held onto Dorothy's skirt, and together they arrived in a wondrous new world filled with talking animals.
Meeting Dorothy and Toto
It was a bright/sunny/clear day when I came across/met/encountered Dorothy/the girl/that young woman. She was dressed in/wearing/sporting a blue dress/gown/outfit and seemed very/appeared quite/looked rather lost. Beside her, trotting along/walking happily/wagging its tail, was a small dog/puppy/canine named Toto. He was adorable. Dorothy told me her story.
She said/explained/mentioned that she had been taken/brought/swept to this strange/wonderful/curious place by a powerful/intense/strong wind/storm/tornado. She was desperate/determined/eager to get home/return/find her way back to Kansas. I was sympathetic to her situation.
I offered to help/assist/aid her in any way I could. And so, our adventure/journey/quest began.
